New Zealand vs India, 5th T20I
New Zealand have a largely successful record at the Bay Oval, having only lost 1 out of 5 completed T20I matches, their last here against Pakistan two years ago. There are some reports about how Mt Maunganui is fast turning into New Zealand's Gold Coast in terms of being overly populated and overly expensive with the massive influx of those moving in from Auckland, Hamilton and the likes. The pitch for the Test against England was slow and low but has historically produced a lot of runs -- New Zealand made 243 against the West Indies in 2018 -- in the shortest format. It should be relatively less windy here than in Wellington, which should hopefully improve both teams' catching standards.
